This set of handmade hiding places for crayfish and shrimp is made of high quality fired clay and is suitable for aquariums from 10 l to 100 l. Due to the growth of Aegagropila or Java moss, the individual houses and caves look very natural and fit ideally into the aquarium. Especially pretty also for larger aquariums in which, for example, dwarf crayfish are kept.
In the support shrimp and dwarf crayfish always find some detritus and biofilms to feed on, and on the large surface biofilms of pollutant-degrading bacteria quickly form.
The set consists of:
1 x Shrimp House S (set of 6 clay tubes) covered with Aegagropila
1 x Shrimp House L (set of 10 clay tubes) covered with Aegagropila
2 x Little Shrimphouse covered with Javamoos
1 x Dwarf Crab & Shrimp Mountain Shire covered with Aegagropila
1 x 12 Sea Almond Tree Leaves
Sea almond leaves are very popular in aquaristics because of their high content of tannins and humic substances. They enrich the water with humic acids and make it suitable for fish and invertebrates. Humic substances easily disinfect, have antibacterial and fungicidal effects, protect mucous membranes, buffer the pH value ... their value in the aquarium can not be exaggerated. Initially, shrimp graze the biofilm that forms on the leaves, and later the leaves themselves are eaten. In addition, the SMBB, as sea almond tree leaves are abbreviated, also provide great hiding places for the animals.
