Shrimp breeding basket / feeding net - with clamp

This white nylon feeding net is convenient for open aquariums. It is attached to the top of the glass rim with a clamp, which is much more stable and holds better than a suction cup. With the feeding net, you can feed your shrimp specifically without snails or fish being able to steal their food. The shrimp either help themselves from the outside by reaching through the fine meshes of the net, or they sit directly in the net on the food.

By feeding in this way, you avoid food particles seeping into the substrate where they can rot, which would have a very negative effect on the water values.

This net can also be used to separate egg-bearing shrimp and to release baby shrimp in a protected manner - which can be very useful in a community tank with fish that would prey on baby shrimp. Suspended near the filter, there is always enough fresh water in the net due to the filter current. Carrying shrimp females should only be moved when you can already see the eyes of the hatchlings in the eggs. This way you reduce the residence time and also the stress for the pregnant females. If used as a release station, the net should be hung so that its upper edge is slightly above the water surface.

Thanks to a dimensionally stable wire ring, the opening of the feeding net is reliably kept open, nothing can collapse here.
