2x filter fleece - round

The double pack of filter fleece round without hole is ideal for replacing the filter media in round aquarium filters. The fine fleece is water neutral and does not release any substances into the water. Above all, the enlarged surface serves useful cleaning bacteria to settle and multiply. These bacteria make an essential contribution to improving the water values through their pollutant-degrading activity.

Organic waste products, such as those produced by the decomposition of plant resid ues or by food remains or even dead animals, pollute the water quality and should be removed quickly. For this very reason, a properly maintained aquarium filter is the ultimate in keeping water health high and maintaining the biological balance in the aquarium.

The round filter fleece actively retains the smallest dirt particles, but also the remains of algae and plant parts. Also whirled up clouds of dirt, which are caused by bottom fish or work in the aquarium are safely held back. Thus, the aquarium water becomes crystal clear again.

Replace your filter media regularly to achieve consistently good values. Especially if the water flow of the filter decreases, this is a sure indication for a replacement. However, be careful never to replace all filter media at the same time, otherwise too many of the microorganisms will be removed.
