ADA - Lily Pipe Outflow P-6

The attractively and elegantly shaped ADA Lily Pipe P6 by Aqua Design Amano for large open aquariums is available in two versions: once with a connection of 13 mm for filter hoses with a diameter of 12/16 mm, for aquariums with a volume of 120 liters and a filter capacity of 10-20 liters per minute, and once with 17 mm for filter hoses with a diameter of 16/22 mm, an aquarium volume of 180 liters and a filter capacity of 20-30 liters per minute.

The Lily Pipe P6 made of crystal clear glass takes its name from its lily shape. As a water outlet on the external filter, the large curved shape of the outflow creates a plant-friendly and uniform flow in the aquascape - which is very congenial to the vast majority of aquarium plants. Thus, all water layers are evenly mixed and the nutrients reach the plants reliably. The aquarium inhabitants are also well supplied with oxygen everywhere.

The water inlet of the ADA Lily Pipe P6 is located on the outside of the aquarium pane, where it can be attached to the glass at the desired height using the attached suction cup . The glass arch of the ADA Lily Pipe P6 extends over the edge of the aquarium, half of the ADA Lily Pipe is in the water. This gives a uniform, relatively wide flow along the water surface in the aquarium. At night, if necessary, the ADA Lily Pipe P6 is placed a little higher and the water is allowed to ripple into the aquarium. This increases the oxygen content of the aquarium water.

The connection of each Lily Pipe from ADA is one millimeter wider than the inner diameter of the hose, so that the connection is firm, non-slip and, of course, above all waterproof. This makes the assembly a bit more difficult. It works better if the hose end of the filter hose is made more flexible in hot water, and if you apply some detergent and water to the tube of the ADA Lily Pipe P6.
