The  Dwarf Pearlwort, native to Central America, is a popular ground cover for nanocubes and especially for aquascaping. The very low remaining dwarf pear lwort is one of the smallest known stem plants and convinces visually with its dense growth and the small delicate leaves, which give every layout the finishing touch.

Used mainly in the foreground or also at the edge of hardscape such as stones or roots, the dwarf pearlwort soon forms dense mats. When used with soil, the use of a powder over the soil is recommended so that the dwarf pearlwort's delicate roots find sufficient support. Tying up is also suitable, especially if there are burrowing animals such as snails or fish in the aquarium.

Regularly trimmed, the Cuba Dwarf Pearlwort grows compact and bushy together, also care should be taken that it does not grow on top of each other, as it denies the lowest layer access to the light source, which is why these leaves could possibly turn yellow.
