The somewhat irregular coin-shaped Nano Scape Rock made of slate was planted with a thin layer of the pretty short-filament green alga Aegagropila linnaei. This alga is well known from the popular moss balls.
The Nano Scape Rock is ideal for use in the foreground or middle ground in the aquarium and ensures that the attractive short dark green lawn that Aegagropila develops into stays where you want it. These vegetated stones are particularly well suited for stabilizing highly heaped up Soil in the middle ground to background and for stabilizing transitions between different substrate materials such as cosmetic sand and Soil or gravel. If you line the transitions between a road of light sand and the surrounding dark gravel with Nano Scape Rocks, the substrates will not mix as quickly and will look neater longer. The flat Nano Scape Rocks can also be used to easily create a beautiful flat dark green lawn in the foreground.
The extremely slow growing overlay of Aegagropila is very readily grazed by shrimp of all ages and is also used as a hiding place by baby shrimp; finest particles are always caught between the short threads, and microorganisms also find ideal propagation conditions here. In particular, the substrate-bound pollutant-degrading filter bacteria like to settle on the large surface and ensure good water quality from there.
Size of the Nano Scape Rock: approx. 3-7 cm
Our recommendation: For a splendid plant growth we recommend the use of the NatureHolic fertilizer series and for new plants the Premium Nutrient Substrate NatureHolic GroundBooster.
Expert Tip: With the NatureHolic Plant Glue you stick this plant gently and uncomplicated on stones, roots and decoration . Made in Germany, the adhesive does not pollute the water and has no negative impact on the stock.
