Unlike land mammals, fish obtain their nutrients not only from food, but also from their environment. Therefore, due to oxidation and precipitation, they should be replenished regularly to maintain their well-being and health. MarineTrace contains only trace elements that fish have been shown to need.
Regular replenishment of important trace elements is necessary to maintain all processes in the aquarium, as they regulate growth and reproduction, among other things. The chemical elements in seawater are diverse, and likewise their addition in trace amounts has different effects on a variety of animals kept in it. In the main, however, they are responsible for metabolic processes and color formation. Especially the addition of iron can promote the coloration and growth of corals, anemones and other photosynthetic animals.
