Tip: Every once in a while you should lift the dino head and remove the mulm that has formed underneath it so that no gamy spots develop. By the way, you can get a really cool effect by drilling a small hole under the skull and connecting it to an air hose - this way the head not only bubbles, it also removes any accumulations inside, and the aquarium water is enriched with vital oxygen! Every now and then you should clean the skull. Lift it out of the tank and make sure that there are no animals in it. Rinse it with lukewarm water at the most and clean it only with your fingers. Hot water, brushes or cleaning agents could make it unsightly or bring cleaning agents into the aquarium.
