High quality glass planarian trap - Worm Catcher

With the High Quality Glass Planaria Trap, flatworms can be caught in no time and make the use of chemical cures such as No Planaria or Flubenol unnecessary. Among other things, these have the side effect that dead planaria massively impair the water quality, which can be dangerous, especially in small aquariums.

Choose the planaria trap from three variants via the selection menu!

The fine glass bulb is equipped with an attractant food and placed in the aquarium. Shrimp protein food is suitable for this purpose, but also unseasoned turkey meat. Through the funnel-shaped entrances in the flask, the planarians migrate into the trap and cannot find their way out. Once collected, they can be removed entirely and the planarian population significantly decimated.

Since planarians lay eggs that hatch after a certain period of time, the planarian trap should still be used when no more planarians are visible, so that the next generation does not cause new problems. The flatworms are nocturnal, so usually the next morning the trap provides information about the extent of the population.
