TWINSTAR - M3

In freshwater aquariums, the M3 from Twinstar significantly reduces maintenance work. Especially in new setups, the Twinstar acts against a development of algae and thereby improves the growth of higher aquatic plants. The Twinstar destroys the cell walls of the algae spores via a sterilization process and prevents them from developing. Green algae are thus effectively suppressed in their formation before they become a nuisance. Therefore, the use of the Twinstar M3 is already worthwhile in the run-in phase of a planted aquarium or aquascape.

The Twinstar does not affect the biological balance in the aquarium and can be used in parallel with medication. It also does not affect beneficial microorganisms or aquarium inhabitants. The computer-controlled unit makes use of a clever algorhythm and switches itself on independently. The rising fine bubbles prevent algae spores from developing, so that the prevailing supply of nutrients is once again available to the aquatic plants alone and the aquarium can develop free of algae.

The Twinstar suppresses these algae spores:

• Spot algae
• Filamentous algae
• Fuzz algae
• Blue-green algae
• Dust algae
