SEACHEM - Reef Carbonate

With ReefAdvantage Carbonate you reliably and safely increase the carbonate hardness in your marine aquarium. This optimized and with 4,000 meq/l highly concentrated mixture of carbonate and bicarbonate salts reliably increases and maintains the KH.

Calcium and carbonates are essential factors especially for coral growth. Deficiencies prevent further growth and affect their health. ReefAdvantage Carbonate is easy and uncomplicated to dose, so that your valuable animals are well supplied at all times. The mixture of carbonate and bicarbonate salts results in a pK of approximately 9.0, which also significantly stabilizes the pH in the reef aquarium at 8.-8.4. Properly used, the product is very safe and also does not precipitate magnesium, calcium or strontium, which is usually the case with increasing carbonate hardness.

Application: Use 1 dosing cap per 80 liters of water twice a week at the beginning. Preferably diluted with fresh water beforehand. Test the carbonate hardness regularly and adjust the amount accordingly. Add the product directly to the aquarium in a high flow area.

Note: Prevent overdosing and do not mix ReefAdvantage Carbonate with calcium, magnesium or strontium preparations. If possible, apply the products with a time delay and not at the same time.
