ADA - Rear wall film Clear 120-P blue

The monochrome blue backscreen ADA Aqua Screen Clear Blue 120-P for 120 cm long and up to 50 cm high aquariums from Aqua Design Amano is a beautiful calm background for the aquarium as well as for the aquascape. The uniform blue color acts as a resting point for the eyes of the viewer and brings a friendlier atmosphere than black background film in the aquarium.

ADA's background foil in the Clear version is somewhat transparent - optimal as a background in combination with aquarium backlighting. Hoses, cables and other accessories of the aquarium technology behind the aquarium will still be invisible.

The ADA Aqua Screen Clear Blue 120-P aquarium background film is self-adhesive. It can be applied dry and wet. The background film is the first thing to be applied to the aquarium, even before the aquarium is placed in its final location. The background film is easy to apply if you keep a few things in mind.

First, place the aquarium face down on a soft surface. Then, you clean the upward facing back glass very thoroughly with glass cleaner so that it is absolutely clean and free of dust. If you choose the dry application method, first place the ADA Aqua Screen Clear Blue 120-P backscreen film at the bottom of one corner and carefully apply it piece by piece to the outside of the backscreen with a soft cloth. The film must never stick together!

If you want to be absolutely sure that no bubbles form under the film, the wet bonding method is still somewhat more suitable than the dry bonding method. Pull the backing paper off the adhesive side of the film bit by bit and spray the exposed adhesive side generously with a mixture of water and washing-up liquid.

Then place the wet foil at the bottom corner and spread it with a soft cloth piece by piece on the back wall of the aquarium. If bubbles do appear, they are immediately smoothed out with the edge of a plastic card towards the edge. A wetly glued film must be allowed to dry for a day before it is fully trimmed.

If the aquarium is higher than the foil, start not at the bottom, but in one of the top two corners . The lowest strip remains free. It will later be invisibly covered by the substrate and the plants. Important: The foil is cut to size only after it has been applied!
