With its brown colors, the active substrate provides a harmonious ambience and looks extremely natural. Above all, it offers plants a broad nutrient portfolio, which can grow healthy and strong.
No further nutrient substrate is required, nor should the Nature Soil be washed out before use and can thus be packed into the aquarium. A substrate height of 4-5 cm is recommended, piled higher towards the back wall to create great depth effects. Effectively carbonate and total hardness are reduced, also the pH value is stabilized.
In the aquarium, the substrate is one of the largest filter surfaces, this absorbs pollutants and also offers useful cleaning bacteria a great surface. Thus the water becomes crystal clear again. Only burrowing fish should be better avoided, so that the swirled up Soil does not cloud the water.
