The Seachem Discus Buffer in combination with the Neutral Regulator helps you to easily set an ideal pH value between 5.8 and 6.8. It also precipitates calcium and magnesium, making the water softer in general. The Discus Buffer is therefore ideal for all aquariums in which rather acidic pH values are desired.
Use Neutral Regulator and Discus Buffer in combination with demineralized or osmosis water for best results and to achieve the desired pH level. Especially when changing water or refilling, it is beneficial to avoid dangerous fluctuations. The product contains phosphate buffer and conditioning agent.
Application: To achieve the desired pH value, use 1 tsp (approx. 5g) to 40-80 liters of water daily until the appropriate value is reached. Apply Discus Buffer regularly, especially when changing water, to maintain a stable pH.
