2x filter foam cartridge - fine

The fine filter foam cartridge is a great replacement for internal filters  and external filters in the aquarium. On the fine surface, useful microorganisms settle, which contribute to the decomposition of pollutants, in addition, fine dirt particles and turbidity are filtered out of the water. The water thus becomes crystal clear and clean again, thus increasing the health and well-being of your pets.

Especially the decomposition of organic waste materials such as plants, leaves or food pollute the water very much and should therefore be removed quickly. The aquarium filter takes over the lion's share of the water treatment. However, the countless purification bacteria also make a significant contribution to water treatment. Therefore, the maintenance of the filter media is the be-all and end-all of successful aquaristics.

If the water outlet on the filter starts to slacken, this is the first indication that it should be serviced. However, be careful never to replace all filter media at the same time, otherwise too many of the good cleaning bacteria will be lost.
