ADA - Green Brighty Iron

ADA Green Brighty Iron by Aqua Design Amano is a special liquid fertilizer containing iron for all aquatic plants. It provides planted aquariums and aquascapes with the essential micronutrient iron (Fe).

Iron is needed by aquatic plants in the aquarium for the formation of the green leaf pigment chlorophyll, it ensures radiant leaf colors. The leaf green chlorophyll is indispensable for energy production through photosynthesis. Aquarium plants with an iron deficiency therefore not only have pale colors, but also do not grow well. In addition to stunted growth, an iron deficiency can also lead to chlorosis: The plant leaves turn yellowish, while the leaf veins remain green. Fresh shoots turn light yellow, washed out pink or white.

A good iron fertilizer for the aquarium makes the leaf colors of red and green aquarium plants in the aquascape really shine.
Nutrient gaps are readily used by algae, which then grow excessively, so an iron deficiency in the aquarium can result in an algae plague.

The liquid fertilizer ADA Green Brighty Iron was developed by Aqua Design Amano specifically for the iron supply of aquarium plants in aquascaping. Such iron compounds were specifically selected, which the aquarium plants can absorb particularly well through their leaves from the water.

Application: To provide the aquarium plants with sufficient iron, dose one pump stroke (equivalent to 1 ml) of ADA Green Brighty Iron per 20 l of aquarium water and day, ideally with the light switched on. This allows the plants in the aquarium to utilize the iron directly. In well planted aquascapes with strong lighting, the iron requirement may be higher. The amount of fertilizer can easily be increased to two to three pump strokes per 20 l of aquarium water.

For better dosage, the 180 ml and 300 ml bottles come with a practical dosing pump.
