NatureHolic - Feed Package - Mainfeed / Proteinfeed / Mineralfeed

All our NatureHolic foods are produced gently and environmentally friendly, and the raw materials come from carefully controlled cultivation. Vitamins, minerals and also all other valuable ingredients are preserved to the greatest possible extent thanks to our innovative production in the cold pressing process. As Darwin already knew: anything that goes against nature will not last in the long run!

We deliberately do not use fish meal because of the problems associated with it. Instead, we prefer to use insects and microorganisms as protein suppliers. Besides protein, insects also contain chitin - which shrimps, crabs and shrimps need anyway to build their shells. The moulting and growth hormone ecdysone, which is also contained in insects, can have a very positive effect on the growth, moulting and fertility as well as the reproductive capacity of shrimps and crabs.

For specific prevention of deficiencies we have included a mix of vitamins: Vitamin D3 for a well-functioning calcium metabolism (important especially for shell formation), Vitamin A for unproblematic egg formation and for the hypodermis, for a functioning immune system and of course also as an antioxidant against free radicals, as well as Vitamin C.

We also use a special trace element mix with organic mineral compounds. They are directly available to the organism as building material without the body having to transform them for a long time.

NatureHolic's Mainfeed Softpads for daily feeding provide your shrimp with everything they need for shell building, egg formation and growth. High-quality Spirulina, the leaves of the Moringa tree as well as iodine-containing Kelp contain vitamins, minerals, trace elements, provitamins and the important secondary plant substances. As an energy supplier we use digested cereals. With astaxanthin and cantaxanthin for better colors and more vital animals. This provides your shrimp with everything they need on a daily basis.

NatureHolic Proteinfeed shrimp food pads are designed for shrimp with a high protein requirement. Shrimp in growth or breeding, and of course shrimp that belong to a genus that prefers more animal food (such as all kinds of species of the genus Macrobrachium or even Amano shrimp and tiger shrimp). Proteinfeed is also suitable for crayfish of the genera Procambarus, Cambarus, Cambarellus and for Cherax from Australia. We have taken care that the protein content of this protein feed is nevertheless below 40%, so that moulting problems due to too high protein intake cannot occur in the first place.
In addition to insects, we also use Arctic krill and, to a lesser extent, yeasts as a further source of protein. When shrimp offspring "don't come up", the reason is often a lack of important nutrients in the females - the basis is already wrong. Proteinfeed provides everything that female shrimps and crayfish need for egg development and egg quality

NatureHolic Mineralfeed supplies not only crustaceans such as shrimp, crabs and crabs with minerals and trace elements, but also snails. Crustaceans depend on minerals to build up their new shell and to go through the molting process without problems. Snails need minerals and especially calcium to build their shells hard and stable.
In all invertebrates, minerals and trace elements play an enormously important role in growth, egg production and quality, blood formation and immune system function. NatureHolic Mineralfeed contains inorganic as well as organically bound minerals and trace elements. The organism can absorb and process them directly.

Feeding recommendation:
Give from Mainfeed or Proteinfeed 1-2 times daily as much as the animals absorb in a few minutes. Mineralfeed should be used 2-3 times a week. Also give as much of it as your shrimps eat in a few minutes. Feed rather sparingly, a 5 mm pad is sufficient for 15-25 shrimp.
