ADA - Rear wall film Clear 60-P - blue

The monochrome blue background film ADA Aqua Screen Clear Blue 60-P for 60 cm long and up to 40 cm high aquariums from Aqua Design Amano is a beautiful calm background for all aquariums and aquascapes. The beautiful blue color provides a resting point for the eye and appears less gloomy than black aquarium background films. The Clear version is slightly translucent, which makes this background optimal for background lighting behind the aquarium. Nevertheless, it makes hoses, cables and aquarium equipment behind the aquarium invisible.

The ADA Aqua Screen Clear Blue 60-P background film is self-adhesive and is suitable for both dry bonding and wet bonding. It is applied to the aquarium as the first step, even before the tank is placed in its final location. To apply the backsheet professionally, the aquarium is placed on a soft surface with the back facing up. The outside of the back wall is now thoroughly cleaned with glass cleaner. It must be absolutely clean and dust-free!

For dry bonding, the ADA Aqua Screen Clear Blue 60-P film is applied to a corner at the bottom and then rubbed onto the glass piece by piece from behind with a soft cloth. The film must never stick together!

If you want to be absolutely sure that no bubbles are visible, it is better to use the wet bonding method. To do this, spray the adhesive side of the film piece by piece with a mixture of water and detergent from a spray bottle. To do this, peel off the backing paper on the reverse side and spray the exposed film directly and, above all, generously.

Also for wet bonding, start in one of the lower corners and rub the film onto the glass piece by piece from behind with a soft cloth. Any bubbles that may form are then smoothed out directly and immediately towards the edge. This works best with a plastic card.

If the aquarium is somewhat higher than the film, start in the upper corner and leave a small area unfilled at the bottom - this is where the substrate will be later, and the free edge will be invisible. After wet bonding, the film must first dry for a day before continuing with the cutting.
