Amtra - Osmosis System 190

With the Amtra Osmosis System 190 you can easily produce osmosis water for your aquarium at home. Many of the dwarf shrimps kept in aquariums live in their natural habitat in waters with a very low pH and with a different mineral composition than what usually runs out of the tap. With the Amtra Osmosis System, the tap water can be demineralized and then treated with the appropriate water additives Mineral saltswe offer a wide range of water treatment products to meet the needs of the animals in our store, but also to replenish evaporated water.

The three-stage reverse osmosis system produces osmotic water, i.e. removes most of the salts present in the water. The resulting osmosis water then has a very low conductivity, approximately between 10-40 microsiemens. No electrical connection is required for operation. The pressure of the tap water is forced through a semi-permeable membrane, which allows only the water molecules to pass through, but no solids. The system includes a sediment pre-filter cartridge, an activated carbon pre-filter cartridge, a vessel and a reverse osmosis membrane with 50 GPD (90 liters per day), as well as a tap for backwashing and reducing the water pressure. Also included are accessories for wall installation, as well as pipes and quick couplings for connection and a special key for secure fixing.
