Frozen food is produced by shock freezing the food animals caught alive. This preserves all the vitamins, minerals and trace elements, so it has the same value as live food and is a great alternative thanks to storage in the freezer.
It's best to remove the portion to be fed just beforehand and carefully squeeze it out of the blister. Thaw them in a tea strainer or a net and then rinse them briefly.
