from over 3,000 reviews "The AquaEx Set 45-70 from JBL is a well thought-out and very effective bottom cleaner, which is suitable for removing dirt in the aquarium from a height of 45 cm. The aquarium water is constantly polluted by food remains, dead plants but also metabolic products. Because the aquarium filter cannot remove all of these substances from the water, thorough cleaning of the substrate is essential in addition to water changes. With the AquaEx Set both can be combined.
Vacuuming with the AquaEx Set is very easy - simply hold the mulm bell in the water, shake it up and down and hold the end in a bucket. The water flows into the bucket. The mulmglocke is now moved over the substrate. To finish the process, simply lift the bell out of the water or close the stopcock.
The bottom cleaning set is gentle and safe: thanks to the integrated protective sieve, plants and animals are prevented from being sucked in.
