from over 3,000 reviews "JBL 's Denitrol is particularly suitable for preparing aquarium water in a biotope-compatible manner so that fish feel comfortable. Especially when setting up a new aquarium and after partial water changes, bacteria should be added so that the aquarium can clean itself biologically again and break down pollutants more quickly. Denitrol contains living bacteria cultures which are highly active and useful in breaking down ammonium/ammonia and nitrite in the water. It also eliminates fish excrement and other organic waste.
Denitrol is also suitable for invertebrate aqu ariums, as well as for saltwater tanks and also turtle aquariums. Before use, the bottle should be shaken well, the lid also functions as a measuring cup.
Application: 10 ml/ 300 liters for partial water changes, 10 ml/ 20 liters for new setup and disease.
