ADA - Pro-Scissors Spring

The ADA Pro Scissors Spring made of stainless steel is a short spring scissors with a length of only 16 cm - optimal for maintenance work in nano aquariums and for fatigue-free pruning of ground covers even in larger aquariums. The spring shears from Aqua Design Amano enable comfortable, efficient and fast pruning of larger areas in the aquarium and aquascape. The necessary pruning in the aquascape is much less strenuous with a good spring shears and does not go so hard on the fingers.

It is particularly useful to use the ADA Pro Scissors Spring in the foreground of the aquarium when trimming and thinning out very densely growing ground covers with runners, or in iwagumi style aquascapes where such aquatic plants are used almost exclusively. Thanks to the durable and robust springing of the ADA Pro Scissors Spring, the blades of the plant shears spring apart by themselves - saving time and energy.

The spring scissors are also the ideal aquascaping tool for cutting moss cushions in the aquascape into shape, with which, for example, stone structures or roots have been planted. The cutting edges of the plant shears are hardened over the entire length and thus remain very sharp for a very long time.

For pruning sturdier stems, thicker rootstocks and somewhat harder petioles, the spring scissors with the straight blade (ADA Pro Scissors Spring - Straight Type) are ideal. The spring scissors with the curved blade (ADA Pro Scissors Spring - Curved Type) are particularly suitable for trimming softer cushion plants, grass-like plants and aquarium mosses in the aquascape.
