Crabs in nature usually have a very varied diet. Most species are omnivores, and in Natureholic Crab Feed Sticks we have taken this preference into account. They contain biologically balanced animal and vegetable ingredients that are also part of the natural food spectrum of omnivorous crabs in the wild. The valuable ingredients of NatureHolic crab feed support the moulting, digestion, growth and reproduction of your crabs in a completely natural way.

We deliberately avoid inferior, cheap animal meal and especially fish meal in NatureHolic's high quality feeds. As protein suppliers we use insects and crustaceans for crab feed, which not only contribute nutritionally beneficial protein, but also the important chitin, which allows the crabs to build an optimal shell, and they provide the moulting and growth hormone ecdysone, which can support the moulting process of the crabs. Mollusks and bacteria provide other high-quality proteins. Thus NatureHolic Krabbenfeed provides the omnivorous crab with everything it needs for healthy growth, a problem-free moult and for successful reproduction (as far as possible in the aquarium, terrarium, paludarium or aquaterrarium). Natureholic Krabbenfeed contains our special mixture of minerals, trace elements and vitamins with highly bioavailable organic mineral compounds. They do not have to be laboriously converted by the organism first, but are directly available.

The crabs can grasp the sticks , which are stable in the water and approx. 10 mm long, very well with their claws and nibble them off cleanly - this keeps the water pollution through abrasion during eating within limits, as well as the high digestibility. The sticks are produced gently and environmentally friendly.

Please pay attention to the diet of the crabs you keep - for crabs that eat only snails or that are purely carnivorous, you should choose a different food. For purely carnivorous crabs, we recommend Macrofeed from NatureHolic, which is aimed at the carnivores among the crustaceans.

Feeding recommendation:
Feed 1-2 times a day as much as the animals will consume in a few minutes. Feed sparingly, usually 1-3 sticks per crab is sufficient depending on the size of the crab. For small species, the sticks can be divided with scissors or a knife.
