The Panorama Igloo open at the bottom made of restrained elegant dark brown ceramic comes in two versions: on the one hand, there is the round version here, which with 6 cm has a nice height for larger shrimp and crabs in the aquarium or larger crabs in the aquaterrarium or terrarium, on the other hand, we still have a flat version, which with a height of about 5 cm visually not quite so strong. The Igloo has a side entrance and an opening at the top of the bulge. This way a better water exchange takes place and stagnant water in the hiding place is avoided.
The Panorama Igloo looks like one of the popular coconut halves, but it has the advantage of being much more durable and there is no risk of rotting. The igloo offers your aquarium inhabitants protection from intrusive conspecifics and other co-inhabitants, and it serves especially freshly skinned crustaceans such as dwarf crabs, shrimps and crabs as a shelter and refuge. Thanks to the second opening at the top, the animals not only have a better water exchange and a lookout, but they can also easily escape in dicey situations.
You can plant the Panorama Igloo nicely with moss (best with the help of plant glue or superglue, but tying it up is of course also an option) or use it as an extravagant flower pot thanks to the top opening.
The surface of this igloo-shaped ceramic cave for crayfish, crabs, fan shrimp and dwarf shrimp provides an exceptionally suitable settlement area for waste-degrading bacteria that can improve water quality. Shrimp, crabs and shrimp also view these biofilms as good natural food and readily graze on them.
