With the 9 cm Stone Home you offer a smaller or even a young crayfish or a dwarf c rayfish a spacious, comfortable cave. The hiding place is also suitable for a smaller catfish in the aquarium or for a small to medium-sized crab species in the aquaterrarium or terrarium as a perfect cover. The shape is based on a natural pebble.

This very natural looking cave is made of dark brown ceramic that is neutral in aquarium water, which looks great in the aquarium and fits especially nicely into a natural layout. The Stone Home in 9 cm length is equipped with a generous entrance opening. One side is slightly flattened, which greatly improves the stability and stability.

On the slightly rough, natural surface of the fired clay used here, filter bacteria find a surface that is ideally suited for them to colonize. These bacteria break down pollutants in the aquarium water and can thus contribute to better water quality. These so-called biofilms are used not only by shrimps and catfish, but also by aquarium snails and crayfish as natural and protein-rich, healthy food.

The Stone Home can also be beautifully planted with mosses and perching plants and then looks a bit more like a real stone from nature. To attach the plants, a special plant glue or superglue based on cyanoacrylate is suitable.
