Scaping slate quarry - 20-40mm - 1Kg

The small pieces of the Scaping Slate quarry have a size between 20 and 40 mm and are ideal for accentuating existing layouts in the aquarium, but also as an offshoot stone for smaller tops or mosses. The wonderfully dark color ensures an elegant and harmonious appearance that is well worth seeing.

Since the slate quarry is a pure untreated natural product, it can be used without hesitation under water and in the terrarium, but also in the paludarium or aquaterrarium. Whether as a single eye-catcher or stacked, the small slate stones make under water really something and also do not harden the water.

We recommend to rinse the Scaping Slate Quarry with clear water before first use to remove transport-related abrasion. The surface of the slate quarry is also an ideal substrate for beneficial bacteria. These form biofilms and are readily grazed, especially by dwarf shrimp and snails.
