With the Dennerle Nano Shrimp Gravel Arkansa Grey you are relying on a high-quality gravel that also looks great and is particularly suitable for keeping dwarf shrimps . In addition, the fine gravel acts as a biological filter in which the majority of the beneficial microorganisms found in the aquarium settle, which play a major role in water care.
A so-called Nutrient substrate, as we also find it in the store, is ideal as a slow-release fertilizer. This provides plants with an excellent supply of nutrients directly at the roots and can grow much faster and better and supply the water prima with vital oxygen, in addition, the algae formation is inhibited by a strong plant growth.
Hardness-free, light-resistant and water-neutral: shrimp gravel is a great all-rounder which, thanks to its small and rounded grains with a grit of 0.7-1.2 mm, is also ideal for keeping sensitive bottom-dwelling fish and, of course, invertebrates. Especially mussels find a firm hold here and can be kept excellently.
We recommend this substrate setup:
Fill in approx. 2 cm Dennerle NanoDeponitMix Special Nutrient Substrate or another nutrient substrate and then cover with at least 3 cm Dennerle Nano Shrimp Gravel.
Before first use, the gravel should be washed out several times with cold water to remove abrasion caused by transport. By the way, you can find more colors in the store!
