TheAQUAEL UNIFILTER UV filter is designed for cleaning and aerating water in aquariums. With the help of LED UV diodes, it effectively filters the water in aquarium tanks and additionally sterilizes it. The UNIFILTER UV fights floating algae and kills protozoa and pathogenic bacteria, which not only increases the clarity of the water, but also has a beneficial effect on the health of the fish. The LED UV diodes can be switched on and off independently of the filter operation. The UNIFILTER UV is easy to use and allows convenient regulation of the flow rate with the help of a toggle wheel, which is also an impeller dome. The direction of the water outlet can be adjusted in the range of 90°.

The larger UNIFILTER UV 500, 750 and 1000 models have been equipped with a ceramic rotor shaft, which makes the unit particularly quiet and extremely durable.

The specially designed filter media chamber prevents water from leaking from the filter into the tank during water changes and when removing the filter from the aquarium during water changes or washing out the sponge. Maintenance of the AQUAEL UNIFILTER UV filter is also facilitated by the two independent sponge inserts, which can be removed individually and cleaned alternately. This prevents destruction of colonies of nitrifying bacteria that support the nitrogen cycle. To ensure uninterrupted filtration, alternate cleaning of the filter sponge inserts, independently of each other, is recommended.
