Shrimps greatly appreciate the tannins, fiber, minerals and vitamins (A, B, C and E) contained in willow bark. The pieces of bark are first grazed and later eaten.
Dried crushed willow bark can be left in the aquarium as a natural aquarium decoration. It provides cover and hiding places for baby shrimp and young crayfish, and also provides a nice place for snails to sniff around and graze. The bark is 100% pure and comes without additives.
