GlassGarden - Liquid Mineral GH+ - 1000ml

In their natural habitat, bee shrimp (Caridina) mainly inhabit waters with quite low pH values up to approx. 6.9. These quite clear streams also have acidic water with high humic contents, which is mainly caused by fallen leaves and wood. Recreating such parameters in the aquarium is not quite straightforward, because here the aquarium water is merely "turned over" by the filter, but degradation substances are not removed by the flowing current, as is the case in nature. First and foremost, the important filter bacteria, which represent a large part of the microfauna in the aquarium, also break down these substances. Therefore, they should be promoted accordingly to prevent nutrient excesses and mineral deficiencies. These have a detrimental effect on the animals kept, which then react with moulting problems and  loss of color, but can also stop reproducing completely and become seriously ill.

GlasGarten Liquid Mineral GH+ is used for remineralization and water treatment in the aquarium and can be used for osmosis water, demineralized water, but also for rainwater and soft tap water. This liquid mineral additive adds essential minerals and trace elements to the water while increasing the total hardness. The original Japanese formula promotes vitality, coloration and also breeding, as well as growth of Caridina species originating from soft waters. The activity of filter bacteria and microfauna is supported, as well as biofilm formation, which is nibbled off by shrimp. An ideal ratio of calcium and magnesium creates the best conditions for successful molting. GlasGarten Liquid Mineral GH+ supports the long function of active substrate, as it does not affect the carbonate hardness. To permanently buffer the pH value, humic products should be used.

The high concentrate is easy to dose and economical in use.

Application:
7 drops (approx. 0.47 ml) of GlasGarten Liquid Mineral GH+ to 1 liter of water increase the total hardness by approx. 6 °dH and the conductivity by approx. 280 microsiemens. The product is simply stirred into the water.
