from over 3,000 reviews "The Paludarium Base with the dimensions 32 x 15 x 35 cm (LxWxH) is a complete paludarium system with filter, nebulizer and LED plant light for all-round carefree terrascaping! The stylish tank is lowered in the front to allow an unobstructed view of the paludarium setup and to make setup as well as maintenance work in the paludarium easier.
In the Paludarium Base you can let off steam creatively - with stones, roots, water and foggers you can set up dreamlike cloud forest landscapes or water edge biotopes. In combination with mosses or with interestingly shaped stones, you can enjoy fascinating plant terraristics here and even cultivate the underwater form of the plants and their above-water form in the same tank.
If you use the nebulizer included in the set, thanks to the high humidity in the Paludarium Base also perching plants such as Bucephalandra, Anubias or even small epiphytic orchids and ferns feel super comfortable. The water part holds about three liters and is therefore not suitable for keeping animals. At most, a few small snails such as bubble snails or post horn snails would be conceivable as algae police. The water part has a small filter, which cleans the water biologically and also mechanically with the help of filter media.
In addition, the Paludarium Base comes with a practical spray bottle that can be used to spray the ensemble of plants and keep them well moist.
The integrated LED lighting works via touch control and has a day / night mode. The Paludarium Base can also be operated as night lighting, in which case the LEDs shine much more weakly and simulate atmospheric moonlight.
63 LEDs with 0.2 watts each and depending on the setting with a luminous flux of 5,000-30,000 lux provide optimal growth light for the plants and plant-friendly conditions in the Paludarium Base. Please note: Individual LEDs cannot be replaced.
The cleverly designed Paludarium Basin allows easy access to the filter and nebulizer through the back, so you don't have to disassemble the entire terrascape to access the equipment for any maintenance work.
