Dark Blue Sky Rock

Quite unknown, but all the more impressive, are the Dark Blue Sky Rocks, with which very natural  aquariums can be set up. They are particularly suitable for layouts that resemble the original habitats of the animals kept in the aquarium, such as river landscapes, but also for terrace setups.

Dark Blue Sky Rocks are smooth, dark blue stones with brown grain, reminiscent of river pebbles. Thanks to their flat shape, they are easy to install in the aquarium and provide an excellent habitat for microorganisms, whose activity has a positive effect on the water values. Especially shrimps like to feed on this biofilm.

Since the stones are only slightly calcareous, they have no significant effect on the water hardness and are therefore ideal for soft water aqu ariums but also for aquascaping. Especially with different green tones of aquatic plants they come into their own and emphasize a natural look. Combine the dark stones with a light-colored substrate or with roots, as we have them in our store!

We recommend that you rinse the Dark Blue Sky Rocks before placing them in the aquarium to remove any abrasion caused by transport.

The rocks are between 13-17 cm in size.
