GRNLO - High cave - 11 cm

The 11 cm long high cave with its high cross-section also offers a great home for larger crayfish. It is closed at the back and offers space for smaller or somewhat larger crayfish. As a hiding place for a medium-sized antenna catfish, the high cave is of course also suitable.

The elongated shape is ideal for hiding under roots or stone structures, so that only the entrance of the cave is visible - or you can present the cave as a whole in the aquarium without hiding it. The cave is flattened on the underside, which gives it great stability and st urdiness.

This beautiful smooth, carefully sculpted cave is a gorgeous piece of aquarium decoration made from natural fired, water neutral ceramic. The dark brown color will fit into any layout, and the beautiful, slightly roughened surface of the terra cotta cave provides a prime surface for beneficial bacteria that break down contaminants found in aquarium water to colonize. These so-called biofilms serve as a natural grazing ground for shrimps, snails and crayfish.

You can plant the high cave with water mosses and perching plants such as ferns or small anubias. In this way it can be wonderfully concealed a little better. The shape allows a very simple tie-on, of course, gluing with plant glue is also possible.
