The untreated gravel is a pure and untreated natural product, which does not influence the water values and does not change the pH-value. Useful bacteria settle quickly in the porous material, and plants also find a better hold and take root vigorously.

Tip: Wash out the gravel several times with cold water before use to remove abrasion caused by transport. An initial cloudiness in the aquarium is a sign of quality and will disappear in 24 hours due to filtration.
