Aquael Filter Turbo

The AquaEl N Turbo Filter clarifies and cleans the aquarium water mechanically and biologically. With the internal filter you remove water turbidity and pollutants from the water of your aquarium and ensure a good flow and thus also a good oxygen supply in your aquarium water. The filter has a high efficiency and at the same time a relatively low power consumption.

This AquaEl aquarium filter is quiet and energy efficient. You can equip it with all biological or chemical filter materials produced by AquaEl. The rotor chamber is sealed to prevent shrimp or other small animals from entering the filter rotor. All models of the AquaEl Turbo Filter are equipped with shock absorbing suction cups that dampen the vibrations of the unit. Thus, nothing is transferred to the glass of your aquarium and the filter runs relatively hum-free and quiet.

On the larger models of the AquaEl Turbo filter (types 1000, 1500 and 2000), the rotor shaft is made of ceramic, for even quieter operation and a long service life. The special design of the AquaEl Turbo internal filter allows you to expand the filter modularly and fill up corresponding filter media containers with a suitable filter media.

The Turbo Filter Container 500 is equipped with a flexibly loadable container for loose filter media with a capacity of 250 ml, in the 1000, 1500 and 2000 models this container holds 625 ml. The filter also comes with a BioCeraMAX Pro 600 cartridge for biological filtration and a shrimp-safe filter sponge with suitably selected density to ensure the longest possible filter life.

You can flexibly operate the AquaEl Turbo Filter in three variants: with sponge only, with the free-fillable container only, with the free-fillable container and the sponge in combination.

Additional suitable containers for filter media for the AquaEl Turbo internal filter can be purchased separately here in the store. They can be joined to the modules already mounted on the filter using the connection system specially developed by AquaEl. This allows you to react flexibly to any filtering task and, for example, add a compartment with peat if soft water is desired, or react flexibly to special water loads with a phosphate absorber or a nitrate filter - just as your aquarium, your fish or shrimp need it.
