With the Stone Home in 18 cm length, which is closed at the bottom, you give your crayfish in the aquarium or a larger crab in the aquaterrarium a great hiding place. The Stone Home is also super suitable as a catfish cave or as a spawning cave for Apistogramma due to its size. The dark brown ceramic cave looks like a natural stone and thus fits wonderfully into the natural ambience of an aquarium. It has two openings, which helps avoid stress as the aquarium inhabitants can avoid each other.
The water-neutral fired terracotta material from which the cave is made provides an excellent, slightly rough surface for pollutant-degrading bacteria to settle. Incidentally, these so-called biofilms are eagerly eaten by shrimp, snails, catfish and crayfish in the aquarium.
The Stone Home looks even more natural if you green it with some moss or a few perching plants. For this purpose, you can either tie the plants on or fix them with some plant glue.
