Our Mooscube XXL offers with its bizarre shape a real eye-catcher in the shrimp aquarium or in the aquarium with dwarf crabs. The open shape offers a good view of the animals, so this Mooscube is also ideal for breeding aquariums! The rough surface of the mosscube promotes the settlement of biofilms, which shrimp love to graze and eat. These biofilms are also home to nitrite-degrading bacteria, which are responsible for good water quality.
The moss cubes are optionally planted with Aegagropila linnaei (also known as moss ball or algae ball) or with Java moss (Vesicularia dubyana), which gives them a great look and provides additional hiding places for the shrimp babies and young dwarf crabs. Here also the useful bacteria find even more settlement areas.
The Mooscube is handmade in Germany from very high quality clay and then fired. This makes the material water stable.
