Terragran substrate - 3L

To ensure that the substrate, which is one of the largest filter surfaces in the aquarium, can work reliably, you should useTerragran. This consists of selected clays and is a 100% pure natural product, which  was fired at very high temperatures, so that it is completely germ-free. Its grain size of 4-10 mm allows an optimal flow of water, so that plant roots are supplied with nutrients and rotting is prevented.

The Terragran substrate can also be optimally mixed with other gravel or soil and thus also represents a decorative eye-catcher. Not to forget, thanks to its huge surface, it offers another settlement point for useful microorganisms, which can settle and multiply here. Their purifying activity contributes significantly to the decomposition of pollutants and thus improves the water quality.

Organic waste in the aquarium is caused by decaying plant parts, but also food remains and even by dead animals and has a negative effect on water health. Therefore, they should always be removed quickly so as not to compromise the well-being of the animals being cared for.

Rinse the Terragran substrate with clear water before first use to remove transport-related abrasion.
