JBL AquaEx Set Nano 10-35

The AquaEx Set Nano is a bottom cleaner, also called a mulch bell , which is optimally suited for smaller freshwater but also marine aquariums with a capacity between 10-35 liters. The well-being of the fish stands and falls with optimal water conditions - the hygiene of the same is therefore mandatory program in the aquarium. Regular water changes and monitoring of individual water parameters should therefore be carried out at specific intervals.

Especially food and plant remains, but also metabolic products form mulm on the aquarium floor, which can start to rot. This rotting causes a lack of oxygen, which can become a problem for your pets. Therefore, regular and thorough bottom cleaning is recommended. For partial water changes, which should be done about every 14 days, it is not enough to just siphon off the "clear" water. Although most aquariums have a filter, a lot of dirt gets into the bottom. Only with the help of a bottom cleaner, called a mulmglocke for short in aquarium circles, can this dirt be removed quite easily by suction.

The AquaExSet Nano is quite easy to handle and is simply connected: plug the hose with the connection to the mulmglocke. Hold the bottom cleaner in the water and suck it briefly. The slope creates a suction that makes the water flow by itself . Work your way across the bottom piece by piece. Due to the small and angular cross-section, this bottom cleaner also allows cleaning in hard-to-reach places. Thanks to the built-in and removable protective sieve, fish, shrimp or plants are not accidentally sucked in.
