Originating from Mauritius, this species is an endemic plant found only on the island of Mauritius. It grows very well, but like Lilaeopsis brasiliensis the growth rate is rather slow. Its leaf shape is roundish in cross-section and somewhat reminiscent of chives in miniature format. here too, radical pruning promotes the formation of a dense stand. for nano Cubes and also for "aquascaping", this grass-like plant is ideally suited.
