from over 3,000 reviews "Seriatopora caliendrum "Neon" is called Neon Needle Coral or Neon Thorn Cor al because of its fine structures. The bright neon colored small polyped stony coral belongs to the SPS corals. Seriatopora caliendrum "Neon" from the Indo-Pacific should get medium to much light in the aquarium. A good current is also important. Blue light components in the lighting help the Neon Needle Coral form its bright color pigments.
Seriatopora stony corals belong to the rather more demanding SPS corals, but are not very complicated to maintain and are therefore super suitable for beginners in coral keeping. The finely structured, interestingly shaped and brightly colored coral for seawater shows its most beautiful colors with good light and a good water quality. Important is a low content of phosphate and nitrate.
Seriatopora caliendrum "Neon", the Neon Needle Coral grows very fast and gets up to 30 cm tall. For propagation you can cut off pieces of the stony coral. The coral offshoots are glued to a stone with coral glue and placed in a suitable spot in the reef.
