from over 3,000 reviews "This Pocillopora sp. "Pink" or Raspberry Cor al is a pretty fuzzy SPS coral in bright pink from the Indo-Pacific. The raspberry coral belongs to the stony corals and does not necessarily need strong lighting.
Pocillopora stony corals are rather robust SPS corals, which are well suited for beginners in coral keeping. Pocillopora sp. "Pink" raspberry corals branch out as they grow. Their pinkish-pink coloration is strongly related to light intensity and nutrient availability, so color intensity can vary significantly. This variability makes Pocillopora sp. "Pink" a good indicator of changing conditions in the marine aquarium.
The Raspberry Coral Pocillopora sp. "Pink" is a very adaptable stony coral for a saltwater aquarium from 200 liters. Under medium to strong lighting the coral is most intensively colored and grows best. But even with less light you can still keep Pocillopora sp. "Pink" successfully. The coral needs to sit in a good current, but it does not need to be placed at the very top of your reef.
Feed this stony coral in a marine aquarium with fine plant and animal plankton if needed. A breeding in the aquarium is possible, just glue a broken off piece of the raspberry coral with coral glue on a new place in your reef.
