ADA - Rear wall foil Normal 60-P

The single-color opaque backscreen ADA Aqua Screen Normal 60-P comes optionally in black or in blue. It is suitable for aquariums with 60 cm length and up to 40 cm height.

The monochrome Aqua Screen Normal P-60 background film from Aqua Design Amano is a much calmer background for the aquarium than photo backgrounds. Especially for planted aquariums and aquascapes, a black or blue monochrome calm background is like a canvas in front of which the layout can unfold. Incidentally, hoses and cables as well as all aquarium equipment sitting behind the aquarium are also hidden behind the absolutely opaque background.

The self-adhesive background film ADA Aqua Screen Normal 60-P can be applied dry or wet. Applying the background film is the very first step in setting up an aquarium or aquascapes. The background film must be applied without bubbles to avoid ugly stains.

First, place the aquarium face down on a soft surface, and thoroughly clean the outside of the aquarium backsheet with glass cleaner, removing all dust particles and fingerprints. The glass must be absolutely clean!

When the film is dry, remove a small piece of backing paper from one corner of the ADA Aqua Screen Normal 60-P film. Start at one of the lower corners of the aquarium and apply the backscreen film piece by piece to the glass with a soft cloth. The film should never stick together, you would see the marks from the front.

An even better way to achieve a bubble-free background is to apply the film wet. To do this, peel the backing paper off the film in small pieces and use a spray bottle to generously spray a mixture of dishwashing liquid and water onto the adhesive side of the film.

Then place the wet backing film at one of the bottom corners of the aquarium and begin to gradually spread the film onto the back wall with a soft cloth. When bubbles appear, they are directly and immediately smoothed out towards the edge, using the edge of a plastic card. After wet gluing, the film is first allowed to dry for a day, and only then it is cut.

If the aquarium is a few centimeters higher than the film, simply leave out a small edge at the bottom, which will later be covered by the substrate. Then start to apply the backing film in one of the upper corners. Important: The foil is cut to size only after it has been applied!
