The scientific name of the Dwarf Needlewort is Eleocharis pusilla, but it is sometimes mistakenly called Eleocharis parvula. This light green to medium green Australian grass plant grows to a maximum height of 5 cm and is therefore also quite suitable as a ground cover for a nano aquarium.
Soak this InVitro grown portion of Dwarf Needlevula in aquarium water for about an hour and then carefully rinse off the remnants of the nutrient gel. This will give you a variety of small plants that you can ideally place in the substrate with tweezers at some distance from each other . Eleocharis pusilla reproduces by runners and therefore quickly forms beautiful dense carpets. It can be propagated simply by cutting off and replanting the runners.
Thanks to the cultivation method in the laboratory, this portion of dwarf needle lime is not only free of worms, small crustaceans, snails and other co-inhabitants, but also absolutely free of pesticides and fertilizers.
Our recommendation: For a splendid plant growth we recommend the use of the NatureHolic fertilizer series and for new set up the Premium Nutrient Substrate NatureHolic GroundBooster.
