GRNLO - Crayhouse - crayfish cave not only for aquarium crayfish

The Crayhouse made of natural brown ceramic offers protection and shelter to several dwarf crayfish or small species of the genus Procambarus at once. The pyramid-shaped crayfish cave is available in sizes S and M. Size S has three caves, size M has six caves. The diameter of each cave is 2 cm. By the way, the Crayhouse is also very suitable as a shrimp tower!

To integrate the ceramic tubes nicely into the aquarium, you can plant them with mosses or small perching plants such as dwarf Anubias (Anubias nana) or small Bucephalandra. You have the option of attaching the mosses and aquarium plants to the caves in the classic way with nylon thread or simply gluing them on with a good plant adhesive.

The large surface area of the Crayhouse created by the open-pored ceramic provides a home for biofilms, which are readily grazed by small crustaceans and shrimp; it also ensures the optimal settlement of beneficial bacteria, which can break down organic pollutants in the water and thus significantly improve water quality.

The tubes of the Crayhouse are open on both sides. This allows your crayfish to escape if another, stronger species tries to take their place.
