The round, hemispherical Nano Igloo is made of fired clay and has an overlay of Aegagrophila linnaei (the well-known moss balls are made of this algae), Riccia (pond liverwort), flame moss, Java moss or Christmas moss - just as you wish. With the growth, the Nano Igloo looks extremely natural and fits seamlessly into any aquarium setup. Due to the huge surface area, pollutant-degrading bacteria find an ideal colonization area here. Shrimps and dwarf crabs find an excellent grazing ground in the moss and young shrimps find many hiding places here. Older animals can hide in the igloo, which they especially like to do after a moult. Egg-bearing females also enjoy the cover.
Our products are carefully handcrafted from high quality fired, water stable clay. The porous surface supports the settlement of biofilms and thus indirectly improves the water quality.
