Vesicularia dubyana Mini Christmas - NatureHolic InVitro
Mini Christmas Moss Vesicularia dubyana "Mini" originates from Southeast Asia. It looks like Christmas Moss, but its structure is much finer and more filigree. The regular triangular, slightly downward bent fronds look like fir branches. The German name for this pretty aquarium moss is Mini Christmas Tree Moss.
The delicate NatureHolic In Vitro grown Mini Christmas Moss is a super pretty moss for nano aquariums, but also fits nicely in the foreground of a larger aqu arium. Mini Christmas Moss is a great choice for greening roots and rocks and other aquarium decorations in the middle ground to background of the aquarium. The fine aquarium moss brings a primitive mood to the aquarium and gives the impression of long ago. The moss grows over time into beautifully textured medium green pads. With regular trimming you can make the cushions branch out especially beautifully and densely.
NatureHolic Mini Christmas Moss comes from the laboratory, where it was grown absolutely sterile in an invitro cup. Therefore, the invitro moss is free of algae, it also brings no pollutants or parasites. You only need to rinse off the nutrient solution and can use the fine moss directly in your aquarium without any quarantine!
To propagate the Mini Christmas Moss, you can simply cut off a piece of the moss cushion - with your fingers or with the help of plant shears. You can also tie the moss fronds on roots or stones with a nylon thread or simply glue them on with our NatureHolic plant glue.
Mini Christmas moss is particularly suitable for shrimp aquariums. The dense fronds give shrimp hiding places and food. Feedable detritus particles are trapped here, and the biofilms so readily eaten by shrimp can settle here particularly well. In addition, the filter bacteria in the biofilms improve the water quality.
Because the Mini Christmas Moss can grow not only under but also above water, the aquarium moss is ideally suited for the terrestrial part of an aquaterrarium or paludarium. The fine moss can also grow well in a humid jungle terrarium.
Our recommendation: For magnificent plant growth, we recommend Premium Nutrient Substrate when setting up a new aquarium: NatureHolic GroundBooster
Expert Tip: With the NatureHolic plant glue stick this plant gently and easily on stones, roots and decoration . Made in Germany, the adhesive does not pollute the water and has no negative impact on the stock.
