The Craywood Crayfish Cave provide a great hiding place for larger crayfish with multiple exits. Planted with Aegagrophila linnaei (also known as moss ball or algae ball ) or Java moss (Vesicularia dubyana), it is a beautiful eye-catcher in the aquarium that looks distinctly natural. Moss ball algae or java moss provide plenty of room for beneficial nitrifying bacteria to colonize due to their enormous surface area, and shrimp and crayfish an ideal grazing area.
The tied-on greenery gives the Craywood Crayfish Cave a very natural look. The tube is an ideal hiding place after a molt or for egg bearing females.
The Craywood Crab Cave comes from our AquarienArt Nano Line and is, like all items from this series, extremely carefully handcrafted from natural raw materials of high quality. The fired clay does not dissolve in water and offers an optimal settlement surface for biofilmsdue to its slightly porous surface.
In our Aquarium Art Nano line you will find a carefully selected range of clay hiding places for crayfish and shrimp.
Size of the Craywood crab cave: approx. 4 x 18 cm
Our recommendation: For a splendid plant growth we recommend the use of the NatureHolic fertilizer series and for new plants the Premium Nutrient Substrate NatureHolic GroundBooster.
Expert Tip: With the NatureHolic plant glue you stick this plant gently and uncomplicated on stones, roots and decoration . Made in Germany, the adhesive does not pollute the water and has no negative impact on the stock.
