Black lava stones are optimally suited as aquarium decoration. Our Premium Lava Stones Dark are of an exceptionally dark color and are great eye-catchers in the aquarium. But they are not only visually super, just the huge porous surface offers useful microorganisms an excellent place to multiply and settle. These microorganisms effectively contribute to an improvement of the water quality by their activity - the decomposition of pollutants.

The lava stones can be used under water without hesitation, because they do not give off any hardness and therefore do not increase the carbonate hardness. This makes them ideal for soft water tanks, but also for aquascaping. Thanks to the many pores on the surface, it is very easy to place small aquarium plants on them Sit-on plantswhich we carry in our store, but also Mosses or glue, which simply continue to grow from there.

The black stones can be stacked and used for interesting layouts. Larger chunks can easily be divided with a hammer. To give the whole thing more stability, the lava stones can also be joined together with an adhesive.
